Torre De La Horadada

The beaches of Torre de la Horadada stretch for about 5 kilometres and consist of magnificent white sand. They are considered to be the safest and cleanest beaches in the area, the two most popular being at Las Higuericas and Mil Palmeras: both have “Blue Flag”status. Chiringuitos (Beach restaurants) frequently line the coast offering a large selection of mediterranian dishes and tapas. A varied selection of cocktails is also available any time of the day.

Also, visit the 15th century watchtower from which Torre de la Horadada draws its name and is the only remaining archaeological ruin of Thiar (the remains of an old Roman Town which stood on the via Augusta.).
